About this role
* Managing the production operations division and setting up of new production lines. * Capacity Planning – Ensure production departments have sufficient time to manufacture and deliver on time according to the customer’s request. * Planning & Scheduling of staffing needs * Manage customer order / schedule requirements * Pre-plan production and deploy a daily prioritised work schedule to with appropriate time deadline targets. * Monitor & review production progress against deadline targets to ensure on time delivery. * Monitor & review manufacturing operations to ensure correct quality standards. * Ensure that all production related activity is time and cost efficient / effective. * Ensure all plant and equipment are well maintained and repaired. * Ensure production/quality processes, equipment being used and the working environments are all conducive to producing a high-quality product / service. * Monitor production activity to ensure that the appropriate manufacturing methods are employed and that sufficient due care is taken in order to meet the customer’s quality specifications. * Ensure rejected product / non-conformance is rectified as high priority * Establish goals and objectives for self and team and implement * Comply with ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC, HACCP, HALAL and good manufacturing best practice and performance standards. * Maintaining appropriate records in accordance with company procedures. * To undertake all work (existing and/or new) and ad hoc job assignments instructed by the Management. * Degree/Diploma in Food Science / Food Technology or equivalent. * Minimum 5 years related experience in food manufacturing industry. * Knowledge and experience in FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP and HALAL standards. * Strong leadership, organizing and analytical ability. * Good verbal and written communication skills * Able to work under pressure.
