Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2025
unposted.my does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to browse job listings.
We collect minimal data to keep the site running:
- Standard web server logs (IP address, page requested, browser type, referrer). These are retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging.
- Anonymous usage analytics — page views and filter interactions — to understand which features are useful. No personally identifiable information is stored.
We do not collect your name, email, CV, or any information you submit to employers. That data goes directly to the company's own site.
We use a single session cookie to remember your language preference (English / Bahasa Malaysia). No tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies are set.
Apply links take you to external employer websites. Once you leave unposted.my, the employer's own privacy policy governs how your data is handled. We encourage you to read it before submitting any personal information.
Job listings are scraped from publicly accessible company career pages. We store only the information that companies themselves have made public (job title, location, description, apply link). If you are a company representative and wish to have a listing removed, contact us.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. Server logs may be disclosed if required by Malaysian law or a valid court order.
Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA), you have the right to access and correct personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent for its use. Since we collect no identifiable personal data in normal site operation, most PDPA requests will not be applicable. Contact us if you have a specific concern.
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The “last updated” date at the top will reflect any changes.
