About this role
Job Responsibilities: 1. Perform regular maintenance and emergency repairs on steel manufacturing machinery, including furnaces, rolling mills, conveyors, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency. 2. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new plant equipment, ensuring correct setup and integration with existing systems. 3. Provide specialized knowledge and support for maintenance, repair and optimization of mechanical systems and machinery within the plant. 4. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to identify problems and implementing solutions to restore equipment functionality. 5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities including repair logs, preventive maintenance schedules, and equipment performance data to ensure compliance with standards and facilitate future troubleshooting. Job Requirements: 1. Minimum Technical Certificate (Certificate in Mechanical is preferred) 2. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. 3. Able to execute tasks safely at elevated level. 4. Possess troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues. 5. Proficient in using arc and oxygen welding for repairs. 6. Knowledge in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
