About this role

* Preparing meal ingredients, which includes seasoning, washing, peeling, and chopping fruits, meat, and vegetable items. * Receiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good quality. * Taking inventory of restaurant supplies and notifying the supervisor of low or depleted supplies. * Performing basic cleaning duties and ensuring that workstations are properly sanitized. * Plating and presenting meal items as per the Chef de Partie’s instructions. * Measuring meal ingredients accurately for the Chef de Partie. * Disposing of the expired and spoiled food items stored in stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers. * Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area. * Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies). * Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses. * Perform any other related task/function/responsibility that may be assigned by the Management/Company from time to time.
