About this role
Job Requirement * A recognized Professional Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, or its equivalent. * Minimum 3 years working experience in Construction Industry. * Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems, building codes, regulations, and industry standards. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans, and specifications. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset. Job Responsibilities * Implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QESH Management System. * Comply with client and applicable legal and other requirements. * Implement plan actions from risks and opportunities assessment. * Take responsibility and accountability for prevention of work-related injury and ill health in own specific area of work/responsibilities. * Oversee all Mechanical and Electrical installations within construction project. * Ensure that all M&E systems are installed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. * Prepare and submit reports for any information requests or deviations from the required standards. * Coordinate closely with subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of M&E systems with overall construction activities. * Supervise and manage subcontractors' daily work activities, ensuring availability of materials, equipment, personnel, and tools, and maintaining safety. * Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that M&E installations meet project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. * Monitor progress, identify potential delays or obstacles, and proactively implement strategies to keep the project on track. * Attend all project site meetings as well as technical meetings with clients or consultants. * Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
