About this role

As a Project Superintendent, you will be responsible for the following duties: Main Tasks and Responsibilities • Report to the assigned Supervisor/Manager of Coastal Dynamic Pte Ltd. • Maintain and manage the document filing and control system for project-related documentation. Projects may include, but are not limited to, new vessel construction, vessel operations, renewable energy projects, and offshore oil and gas developments. • Communicate effectively with relevant departments, suppliers/vendors, and third parties regarding project documentation and submissions. • Assist in investigating technical issues encountered during project execution and support the development of practical solutions. • Assist in monitoring project progress through site visits and participation in progress meetings. • Assist in sourcing, obtaining, and reviewing quotations from vendors/suppliers for parts, equipment, and services. • Participate in the Company’s ISO internal audit activities where required. • Coordinate with relevant departments and personnel on technical and operational matters. • Provide regular updates to the assigned Supervisor/Manager or relevant Person-in-Charge on ongoing projects, charter hire activities, development projects, or new vessel builds. • Assist in the preparation of budgets for new projects, repairs, or maintenance requirements. • Support the evaluation of suppliers, service providers, and manufacturers where applicable. • Contribute to departmental or organisational improvement initiatives, including continuous improvement efforts. • Ensure compliance with the Company’s Quality Standards (ISO), HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment), and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) practices in all assigned tasks. • Participate in the Company’s ESG initiatives and contribute suggestions for improvement where appropriate. • Carry out other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Company from time to time. Requirements / Knowledge / Competencies • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Shipbuilding, Marine Studies, or a related field, or equivalent relevant industry experience. • Experience in offshore, marine, or shipbuilding environments will be an advantage. • Approximately 3 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, offshore projects, or vessel construction will be considered. • Willingness to learn and develop within a project-based operational environment. • Participation in project-related meetings and company meetings where required. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with drafting or engineering software will be an advantage. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as the role involves coordination with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. • Knowledge or experience in one or more engineering disciplines such as Structural, Architectural Outfit, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or Piping will be an advantage. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing assigned responsibilities. • Candidates should be flexible and able to accommodate short-notice travel when required.
