About this role
Job Requirement * A recognized Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline. * Minimum 10-12 years of experience in M&E construction, preferably in data center projects. * Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, power distribution, cooling systems, and critical facilities. * Proven leadership experience in managing large-scale construction projects and project teams. * Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Job Responsibilities * Implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QESH Management System. * Provide and demonstrate the leadership and commitment for the overall implementation of the QESH Management System in the department. * Take accountability for the effectiveness of the QESH Management System in the department. * Ensure that the QESH Management System conforms to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards in the department. * Promote use of process approach, risk-based thinking and life cycle perspective in the organisation. * Take responsibility and accountability for prevention of work-related injury and ill health in the department. * Promote customer focus and improvement in the department. * Comply with client and applicable legal and other requirements. * Determine risks, opportunities and plan actions and ensure they are implemented. * Report on performance of QESH Management System including QESH performance in the department to the Top Management. * Lead and manage all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works for data center construction projects to ensure completion within schedule, budget, and quality standards. * Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of M&E activities including power systems, cooling systems, UPS, generators, fire protection, and BMS. * Review M&E designs, technical submissions, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. * Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical and operational issues. * Monitor project progress, costs, and risks related to M&E works. * Oversee testing, commissioning, and system integration to ensure successful project handover. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and authority requirements. * To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
