About this role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled civil engineer to join our team at PLYTEC. As a civil engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to the planning, design, and execution of various civil engineering projects. Your expertise and innovative thinking will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our projects. Responsibilities * undertaking design calculations * undertaking technical and feasibility studies on temporary work solution * using computer software for developing detailed designs * liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and contractors * undertaking development of standard design calculations and drawings Qualifications * Possess a Degree in Civil/ Structural /Mechanical Engineering; * 0-2 years working experience in temporary works or steel structural design; fresh graduate is encouraged to apply as well; * Experience in engineering analysis software, including TEKLA Structures Designer, STAAD PRO, TEDDS, etc.; * Knowledge of building/ structural design codes, namely Eurocodes, British Standards & Uniform Building Code, is a must; * Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or BIM software will be an advantage; * Experience in high-rise building design will be an advantage; * Good interpersonal and communication skill, highly committed and responsible and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
