About this role
Job Description (Pre-Tender) * Accurately record all tender submissions and related details in the company database. * Distribute tender documents and drawings to relevant subcontractors. * Ensure the latest material costs are regularly updated. * Quotation Inquiry from subcon and supplier. * Prepare tender deposits, document fees, and tender bonds as required. * Preparation of measurement (drawing). * Prepare formal award letters for selected subcontractors * Prepare and process subcontractor claims in line with contract terms. * Conduct site measurements for provisional contract jobs as required. * Certify monthly progress claims submitted by subcontractors. * Preparation of progress claim. * Submit monthly progress claims to clients. * Assist in managing variation orders and stand by for final account settlement processes. Job Description (Post Contract) * Monitor and manage project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. * Preparation of progress claim. * Review and verify certifications related to project milestones and payments. * Analyze and verify construction drawings to ensure alignment with project specifications and contract documents. * Preparation of tender. * Preparation of final account. * Preparation of quotation for variation orders works. * Preparation of payment for subcon. * Conduct site visits for valuations to assess work progress and ensure alignment with contract terms. * Preparation of subcon letter award and subcon claims. * Perform site measurements for jobs under provisional contracts. * Certify monthly progress claims from subcontractors. * Submit monthly progress claims to clients. * Prepare and review variation orders and final accounts, readying them for final client approval and settlement. Job Requirement * Candidates must possess at least a Diploma, Degree, Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent. * At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for the position(s). * Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required. Mandarin is an added advantage. * Proficient in Computer Skill such MS Office. * Able to work independently with strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
