About this role
This is a middle management role, reporting to Head of Community Financial Services (CFS), Maybank (Cambodia) Plc with a primary role and responsibility for the bank’s sales, channels, branches operational support and business growth including P & L, driving business strategic direction, tactical execution of growth agenda and performance management. The jobholder is expected to work closely with various teams including senior management, Head Business Units across Maybank (Cambodia) Plc and stakeholders at Group. **Responsibilities** - Strategic planning and formulating of distribution strategy covering the long term strategy, annual business plan and budgeting that aligns with the strategic direction and priorities of CFS and Maybank (Cambodia) Pls as well as oversee the delivery of project/initiative execution. - Execute the business strategy, branch’s business plan and performance target setting which includes profitability, Assets & Liabilities growth, customer base growth, asset quality management, customer experience and branch operations. - Set the strategic direction for the business in term of channel optimization and other business development actions. This will involve close partnership and collaboration with key product owners on product specific strategies via each channel to achieve the sales targets. - Oversees and lead actions to optimize all channels to drive acquisition and achieve customer service targets. - Monitoring performance against the plan and take appropriate actions to achieve or exceed the targets including goals setting, performance evaluation, talent development and coaching and ensure that they are guided and implementing the work in accordance to the procedures/SPIs and ensure adequate product training at all customer touch points. - Integrate new product and/or product and services enhancement into operational process and distribution channel. - Ensure the branches operate in full compliance with relevant laws, regulations and internal policies and procedures. - Ensure branches readiness of business continuity plan and drive and support adequate training to ensure all new and existing staff are adequately aware of their risk management and compliance requirements as well regularly communicate to staff of risk trends and issues to increase risk awareness and minimize potential loss. - Provide leadership, direction/guidance and coaching to the Branch Manager and the team to develop and lift up leadership and management skills to ensure high level of performance culture, staff development and engagement. - Develop seamless relationships with all key stakeholders (CTB, Global Markets, Business Operations Support, Finance, Strategy, Risk, Compliance and other departments within MCP and at Group in order to ensure maximum support, participation and ownership. **Requirements** - Bachelor’s degree or master's Degree (preferable) major in Banking/Finance/Economics or equivalent in related field. - At least 10 years relevant experiences preferably with channel management with commercial banks - result orientated individual with at least 5 years track records in branch management and solid understanding of P&L and its drivers. - Sound working knowledge of sales and service concept and strategy. - Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to manage diverse groups of staff with flexibility, innovation and tactfulness. - Proven ability to establish credibility and maintain and develop good relationships including business with senior executives within MCP and at Group as well as high profile customers. - Self-motivated and driven with ability to drive and achieve targets to align with MCP and Group aspiration. - Possess excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
