About this role
Business Development - drive trade and cash revenue growth. **Responsibilities** • Drive trade and cash revenue growth for the assigned commodity client portfolio • Structure and deliver customised trade finance solutions in collaboration with the Global Structuring Trade Solutions (GSTS) team • Lead transactional trade reviews and coordinate closely with the Trade Middle Office team • Partner with Relationship Managers (RMs) and Credit teams to build and maintain a robust deal pipeline • Act as the primary point of contact for clients on all trade and cash-related matters • Ensure seamless execution and high-quality delivery of trade and cash transactions • Proactively manage portfolio and transactional risks to maintain strong credit quality • Structure sound trade facilities aligned with risk appetite, regulatory requirements, and internal policies • Monitor portfolio exposures and ensure compliance with governance and control standards **Requirements** • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in trade finance, transaction banking, or corporate banking, with exposure to commodity clients preferred • Strong knowledge of trade finance products (e.g., LCs, guarantees, structured trade, supply chain finance) • Proven ability to structure deals and manage complex client portfolios • Good understanding of credit risk assessment and risk mitigation techniques • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across teams (RMs, Credit, Operations, Product partners) • Excellent communication and client engagement skills • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment Only shortlisted candidate(s) will be notified.
