About this role
Responsibilities * Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, including troubleshooting and problem resolution. * Support the ERP system, including user support, issue analysis, and basic report customization. * Assist in minor system enhancements, scripting, and basic programming tasks when required. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of hardware, software, and IT resources; Need to handle the IT asset and software audits. * Collaborate with the HQ IT team to resolve specific IT issues and ensure alignment with group-wide IT policies and standards. * Any other duties as and when assigned from time to time. Company: **Pantech Steel Industries Sdn Bhd** Location: **Klang, Selangor** Education: **Diploma/ Adv Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology** Requirements * Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Computer Science/ Business Computing/ IT / or equivalent. * Knowledge of IT administration and Infrastructure. Eg: Server Active Directory, Backup software and MS Office. * Basic programming knowledge (e.g., VB.NET, Microsoft SQL, or similar). * Basic understanding of databases and report writing is an advantage. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Self-motivated, ability to work independently and interact with staff at all levels. * Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English. Proficiency in Chinese is an advantage. * 1–2 years of experience in IT support or related roles is preferred.
