Logistics Manager

About this role

Perform tasks assigned by the immediate superior in accordance to the specification and schedule. Oversee logistic department’s daily activities, such as receiving, storing, retrieving, kitting in assembly line, external work bench, and production schedule planning. Maintain consistency in data entry, inventory accuracy and up-to-date, and resolve variances with justification. Establish the master plan and monthly production plan by converting demand (forecast, customer orders, customer schedules, commercialization timeline, etc) into a feasible production plan to ensure matched sets of materials and capacities are available to meet the customer needs in a cost-effective and production efficient manner. Drive on-time delivery (OTD) to align with targeted timeline to achieve customer satisfaction. Work closely with Production, Sales, Shipping, Procurement, Purchasing, and MC teams to ensure compliance with store activities requirements. Ensure efficient space utilization and proactively liaise with Production, Procurement, Purchasing, and MC teams to prioritize work. Accomplish logistic operations by recruiting, selecting, training and coaching staffs. Being responsible for the logistic department budget and key performance indicators. Drive continuous improvement activities in quality, cycle times, process improvement, and machine availability through lean techniques, and add value to enhance the capability of existing processes and eliminate waste. Lead the store team in investigating PC errors or problems using systematic problem-solving and statistical analysis tool (E.g.: PSS, 8D) and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Comply with all ISO requirements including all standards approved by the Management and adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedures, work instructions, policies, and guidelines provided by the company. Perform duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.
