About this role
* Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations and QMS requirements. * Advancing quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization. * Plan and lead quality team to establish work schedules to meet service standards for inter-departmental as well as external users like sub-contractors / clients. * Oversee supervision of all visual inspections including inspections carried out by subcontractors. * Develop inspection and testing plans for new project sites, repair/defect works as well. * Identify and develop solutions to rectify function/process deficiencies. * Basic QLASSIC awareness course attended. Job Requirement * Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management or related field. * Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in QA/QC within the construction industry. * Familiar with construction codes, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g. CIDB, ISO, QLASSIC). * Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), inspection, and testing procedures. * Good problem-solving skills and able to develop effective solutions to quality issues. * Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors. * Possess own transport and willing to travel to project sites as required.
