About this role
Responsibilities * Provide legal advice and support on corporate, commercial, and contractual matters. * Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, and legal documents to minimize risk exposure. * Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements (e.g., Companies Act, Bursa Malaysia, SC, and other authorities). * Liaise with external legal advisors, regulators, and relevant authorities on legal and compliance matters. * Maintain and update company policies and procedures related to legal and regulatory compliance. * Support corporate exercises including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and due diligence processes. * Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the management from time to time. Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in Law, professional qualification or equivalent. * 4 - 6 years working experience in legal practice or in-house counsel, preferably in corporate or listed company. * Solid understanding of corporate, commercial, and contract law. * Familiarity with Companies Act, Bursa Malaysia listing rules, and regulatory compliance. * Experience in M&A, joint ventures, and due diligence is considered an added advantage. * Strong drafting, reviewing, and negotiation skills. * Excellence analytical, problem-solving, and good communication skills. * High integrity, discretion, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
