About this role
We are seeking candidates to fill the position of Research Analyst to be based in Kuala Lumpur to support the Head of Research. Responsibilities: * Conduct analysis of the financial markets and companies mainly listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd * Articulate analysis, reviews and recommendations of research reports * Present regular market updates and stock analyses to potential customers * Provide support to the equities sales team on the financial markets and presentation of research reports to potential and existing clients Requirements: * Keen interest in the financial markets, investment, economics, equities capital market. Candidates with relevant experience, financial modeling and technical analysis skills will have an added advantage * Degree in Accountancy/Economics/Finance or related field or other professional qualification. Candidates with Capital Markets and Services Representatives license (Investment Advise) preferred * Candidates will be expected, within 6 months of joining the firm, to have passed modules 12 and 19 of the SC Licensing Examinations, and be registered as a CMSRL for Investment Advice * Excellent analytical, verbal, written and presentation skills * Must be able to work independently, under tight deadlines with minimal supervision * Possess good interpersonal skills, result oriented mindset, meticulous and positive attitude
