About this role

* Prepare and process the monthly/bi-weekly payroll for all employees. * Maintain accurate records of attendance, overtime, and any other payroll-related data. * Ensure compliance with relevant labour laws and tax regulations, including statutory deductions (e.g., Employee Provident Fund, Socso, EIS, income tax & etc.). * Generate and file tax-related documents and statutory reports. * Prepare and maintain all payroll-related documentation and reports for audit and compliance purposes. * Maintain and update employee records in the payroll system, ensuring all personal, employment, and salary-related information is accurate, current, and compliant with company policies and legal requirements. * Prepare and submit SOCSO Claims Documents for workers (Accident Cases) to SOCSO. * Process and manage payroll adjustments, including salary changes, promotions, and new hires. * Prepare and submit reports on payroll costs, deductions, and employee benefits to management as required. * Always ensure confidentiality of sensitive payroll data and information. * Follow company policies and procedures to maintain the security of payroll data. * Candidate must possess Bachelor’s degree /Diploma in Accounting, Finance, HR, or other related field Certification. * Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a manufacturing environment. * Familiarity with payroll software (specific payroll systems) and Microsoft Excel. * Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and statutory benefits. * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
