About this role
Responsibilities: * Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements in accordance with accounting principles and standards * Recommend, implement and monitor accounting procedures and controls * Review and advise Management on business operations regarding revenue and expenditure trends and financial commitments * Coordinate annual audit process * Ensure that financial records are properly maintained * Investigate, reconcile and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities * Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory bodies and advise Management on necessary actions * Prepare budgets and variance reports between actual and budgeted results * Coordinate and guide the activities of subordinates Requirements: * Accounting degree / Professional Qualification (ACCA, CIMA or CPA) * Good knowledge of accounting principles and standards * At least 3 years’ relevant experience * Deadlines oriented and good time management * Excellent written, verbal and reporting skills * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work as part of a cohesive team
