About this role
Oversees financial and management account processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including materials, labours and overhead expenses and recommend cost optimization strategies. Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes, including variance analysis and performance tracking. Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive cost efficiency and operational improvement. Assist in cash flow and working capital management, including credit and foreign exchange risk monitoring. Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations and internal controls. Coordinate with bankers, auditors and regulatory bodies for reporting and compliance matters. Contribute to financial modelling, business case analysis, and strategic decision support. Support system improvements, digitalization of finance processes, and team development. Perform ad-hoc task or assignments as delegated by management. Job Requirements: Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting and/or recognized professional certification (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/CMA) and a member of MIA. Proficient in English, both written and spoken. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles, with a strong focus on financial planning, analysis and reporting. Audit experience and prior work in a manufacturing environment will be considered an added advantage.
