About this role
The Sales Executive is responsible for driving business growth by acquiring new customers and maintaining relationships with existing clients in the freight forwarding and logistics sector. The role focuses on promoting air, sea, and land freight services, achieving sales targets, and delivering tailored logistics solutions. **Job Responsibilities**: * Identify and develop new business opportunities within the freight forwarding industry * Promote company services including air freight, sea freight, warehousing, and customs clearance * Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term partnerships * Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and service solutions to clients * Negotiate rates and contracts with customers in line with company guidelines * Work closely with operations team to ensure smooth execution of shipments * Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs * Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs * Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM system * Attend client meetings, networking events, and industry exhibitions **Requirements & Qualifications** **Education** * Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. **Experience** * Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry. **Skills & Competencies** * Strong knowledge of air and sea freight operations, Incoterms, and customs procedures. * Proven track record in achieving sales targets * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Possess own transport and willing to travel. * Existing customer base / strong industry network. * Experience handling Aerospace, Oil & Gas, FMCG, E&E or Project Cargo (optional). **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * Revenue and gross profit targets. * Number of new customers acquired. * Customer retention rate. * Sales pipeline growth. ***We are an equal opportunity and welcomes applicants from all qualified candidates.
