About this role
Principal Responsibilities : • To test, innovate/develop relevant machinery that can be adopted into plantation operation which can improve workers productivity. • Work closely with estate operation managers to plan/identify area & mechanization needs in plantation operation. • To review, analyse and implement estate mechanization projects. • Prepare or improve engineering designs and plans for agricultural machinery/equipment. • Provide competency/technical training to machine operators and mechanic. • Prepare and present mechanization report to management. Requirements : • Possess Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics/Agricultural Engineering from recognized university. • Working experience, interest and exposure with engine, hydraulics, agricultural machinery & PLC will be an added advantage. • Strong analytical, research & data gathering skills. • Able work independently & communicate effectively with internal and external parties. • Possess valid driving license & willing to travel.
