About this role
Responsibilities: * Responsible for all shipping related matters, managing and supervising all aspects of the shipping process, including coordinating shipments, arranging shipments and ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers. * Manage import and export processes and ensure compliance with all required government policies and licensing regulations. * Coordinate with forwarder agents for shipment booking and preparation of shipping documents. * To apply and arrange endorsement for export shipping documents. * To act as key liaison and follow up with government authorities such as Custom, MIDA, MITI, SIRIM and consignee / forwarding freight agents on custom related matters. * Review monthly import and export reports, customs report and bi-monthly import exemption reports for customs, MITI and MIDA. Requirements: * With minimum 3-5 years working experience in related field. * Strong in leadership and communication skills. * Proven ability to manage teams and delegate tasks effectively * Analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize logistics operations * Familiarity with transportation logistics, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance * Adaptability and a proactive approach to continuous improvement * We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to better serve our Mandarin-speaking customers.
